CMMS Dinner Meeting, 12/4/2024

In the spirit of the approaching the Holiday Season, The Chesapeake Microscopy and Microanalysis Society would like to invite you to a gathering of like-minded people for dinner, networking, partaking in scope gossip, and to chart out the future of the CMMS. We will meet at the Elephant and Castle restaurant in DC on Wednesday December 4th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Dinner is complimentary, but the deadline for registration November 25th.  Business meeting is hybrid, so people can attend virtually for voting matters (link to follow).

As a special treat, for those who have the time and interest, Scott Whittaker will give a tour of the Smithsonian Analytical Facility prior to the dinner from 3:00–5:00pm. Space limited to the first 15 respondents and prioritizes students (Iink to follow). Mall side entrance, meeting at the Elephant exhibit as you enter National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC.
